Urging the governor to direct the attorney general to file an amicus                                                            
curiae brief with the United States Supreme Court in the case of                                                                
District of Columbia v. Heller, supporting the individual right to keep                                                         
and bear arms under the Second Amendment to the United States                                                                   
Constitution, was engrossed, signed by the President and Secretary                                                              
and transmitted to the House for consideration.
